Visa ad pushes for cash-less future
A new credit card advertisement for Visa asks consumers to look towards a cash-less future by spending solely with plastic.
The campaign, which was launched this week, highlights the security and convenience benefits of using cards instead of cash or cheque, reports adweek.com.
As well as the TV commercials, the More people go with Visa message will be highlighted on a new microsite too, where consumers are invited to submit recommendations or photographs of different experiences to try.
Visa chief marketing officer Antonio Lucio said in a statement. "The More people go with Visa campaign is an invitation to make the most out of life everyday - a powerful message.
"It's not about spending more; it's about using Visa for those things that are important to you every day."
The advertisements come as recent figures from payments organisation Apacs showed consumers' use of cheques dropped 10.4% in 2008 on the previous year.
