Take advantage "of all the benefits" with credit cards

Writing for the Independent, James Daley explains that the UK's credit card market is one of the most competitive in the world, with many offering interest-free introductory periods and loyalty schemes.

He also notes that some can charge "hefty" interest rates.

"However, if you use your credit cards wisely, there's nothing to stop you taking advantage of all the benefits," Mr Daley adds.

The sector commentator explains there are more than 50 credit cards which offer 0% balance transfer deals for nine months or more, adding that balance transfers are a "great way" to help people manage their finances.

Meanwhile, an article on Fool.co.uk recently suggested that 0% balance transfer credit cards could be used to pay off "more expensive" debts such as overdrafts or loans.
