Credit card holders planning a trip to Spain may be pleased to hear Santander is planning to make all of its ATMs in the country free for Santander UK bank account customers.

According to credit card provider Santander, no other international bank provides free access to ATMs abroad to Brits.

Debit and credit card holders with a Santander bank account will be able to take out money from the ATMs with no additional charge from January 11th.

This could add up to considerable savings with more money to be spent on vacation treats.

According to Santander, if a customer takes out around 130 euros three times while in Spain, they will save around £15.51 if they choose to use Santander ATMs.

Santander is also currently offering the Zero credit card, which offers a 0% foreign exchange fee.

The typical variable rate on the card is 18.9% APR.
