Those looking for a credit card with a low interest rate may want to consider the new offer on Saga's platinum credit card.

The new rate on the card is 11.9% APR typical variable and it comes with many other advantages.

Card holders can benefit from 0% on purchases for the first nine months, subject to terms and conditions.

A balance transfer rate of 0% is also available in the first nine months, with a 3% fee applicable.

For credit card holders who travel abroad, there is a 0% foreign currency charge on transactions in Visa EU and 1% elsewhere.

Saga platinum credit card users are also able to manage their account online and benefit from additional security features.

Existing Visa Saga card holders are entitled to a typical variable rate of 21.9% APR.

In related news, a new report by PriceWaterhouseCoopers has predicted that credit card interest rates are likely to increase in the future.
