Post Office offers zero per cent on balance transfers

New customers using the credit card from the Post Office will receive zero per cent interest on any transfers for the first 18 months.

Additionally, the new credit card, which became available on Monday September 16th, offers zero per cent interest on all new purchases for three months and does not charge commission for overseas purchases.

Head of credit cards at the Post Office John Willcock said: "We are dedicated to providing customers with flexibility and value when it comes to managing their money. Our new credit card... does just this"

He estimates that customers can save £476 on average and says that the card is useful for those who are travelling abroad.

Post Office opened its new current account earlier this year and was tipped to offer a popular service to new customers due to easy access to its high number of branches, making it easy for most people to access.
