People must be careful when storing sensitive information on mobile devices, according to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) magazine.

Sensitive information could include credit card details, which could leave consumers open to fraud if they are not careful about how they store the information.
Senior editor of CRM magazine, Marshall Lager, said that security risks are like those experienced with non-secure email, except with an additional risk of exposing private information to unauthorised parties.
Encryption is not the ultimate solution, he continued. "Make what you will of encryption; the most important security practices still rest with individuals not exposing their logins and passwords via social engineering. Encryption doesn't prevent stupidity."
According to the latest Unisys Security Index, which provides insight into security concerns, 72 per cent of UK citizens believe they are at greater risk from identity theft and related crimes as a result of the financial crisis.
