N&P credit card launched
A new credit card has been launched by Norwich and Peterborough building society (N&P).
The new card will offer users 0% interest on purchases for the first three months. After this initial period, the rate will be 15.9% APR (variable).
Credit card holders will also be entitled to a year-long interest-free option when they transfer the balance from another credit card, with a balance transfer fee of 3%.
The credit card, which is issued by MBNA, can be applied for online, in one of N&P's branches or over the phone. Instant decisions on applications will be given.
Head of banking at N&P, Andrew Clare, said: "We are delighted to be joining forces with MBNA and I am pleased to be able to offer our customers such an attractive credit card offer."
Up to 50 days interest free on credit card purchases will be offered to those who pay off their balance in full and on time every month.
N&P has over 50 branches throughout England and employs over 1,000 people.
