Non-members can now apply for AA's Reward Plus credit card
The AA has announced that anyone is now able to apply for its Reward Plus credit card.
Previously only available to AA members, the card allows users to earn three per cent cash back on £2,000 worth of fuel purchases a year. Rewards are also available on other purchases, with 0.5 per cent cash back offered on all non-fuel transactions.
In addition to cash, users can also use their accrued points to buy other goods and services such as high street shopping vouchers or an AA membership.
Mark Huggins, director of AA Financial Services, said: "The plain fact is that high fuel prices are having an impact on family life.
"Finding ways to get more out of every fill-up - earning cash back rewards, driving in a more fuel-efficient manner and avoiding making short trips to the shops by car - can all help to make an impact on family budgets."
The AA Reward Plus credit card offers 19.9 per cent (variable) representative APR on card purchases.
