The talent show judge and presenter of BBC travel programmes told the Sunday Times she uses an American Express airmiles card as her main credit card.

She manages to total up enough airmiles through using the credit card to afford her a free trip every year.

The TV star said that to get the best deals with the credit card, holders have to spend about £15,000.

As well as the American Express card, Ms Chapman also has a Barclaycard.

"I pay off my bills in full each month," she told the paper.

Ms Chapman is currently filming a fourth series of Wanted Down Under, about people looking to move to Australia.

The British Airways American Express credit card allows holders to collect one BA airmile for virtually every £1 spent.

Credit card holders can collect 1,000 bonus airmiles when they spend £500 in the first three months of card membership.
