New website offers credit card and other financial information
The site called Money Matters was unveiled by Sainsbury's Finance, offering hints, tips and financial information.
The launch follows research from the credit card provider revealing that some people may be choosing to ignore their financial issues rather than dealing with them immediately, by ignoring or delaying envelopes which look like bills.
Sainsbury's Finance found 3.59 million people in the UK say they are currently ignoring or delaying opening bank statements and 2.93 million frequently miss bill payment deadlines.
Karen Horsburgh, head of Sainsbury's Money Matters, said: "The current economic climate is only exacerbating many people's personal financial concerns and our research highlights that there is a huge temptation to stick your head in the sand and hope it all goes away.
"However, if you have money worries the best course of action is to tackle any financial concerns head on and seek advice on how to start rectifying the situation."
In other credit card news, Phones4U has recently launched two prepaid credit cards which allow users to spend only what they have preloaded on to the cards, making it impossible to spend more than they have.
The two Mastercards are called Neon and Escape.
