NatWest and RBS offer help to Cumbrian flood victim credit card holders
NatWest and RBS credit card holders who were victims of the Cumbrian floods could benefit from help from the card providers.
Those who have NatWest or RBS cards have been advised to contact their cards centre using the number of their credit card should they require support.
Other assistance where appropriate will include temporary increases on existing overdraft limits considered on an individual basis.
This could include help for mortgage and loan repayment support.
According to NatWest, its branch in Cockermouth remains open and there is a mobile banking unit currently set up in the Sainsbury's car park to help cope with extra demand.
The branch in Workington also remains open.
Managing director for branch banking Robin Bulloch said: "The last few days have been devastating for many families and businesses and we will be doing everything we can to provide the required assistance to customers experiencing difficulty."
Prince Charles visited Cockermouth on Saturday to offer support to businesses and emergency services helping to get the town running again.
