Money no object for some this Christmas, survey suggests
Carried out by Fairinvestment.co.uk, the research indicates more than a quarter (28 per cent) of respondents do not view money as an issue over the holidays.
An additional 14 per cent state they are so organised, they have already bought all the presents they need ahead of Christmas.
Of those questioned, eight per cent say they would be paying for Christmas on a credit card, two per cent say they plan to take out a loan, ten per cent will be making cutbacks and 12 per cent intend to use their savings.
Rachael Stiles, a spokesperson for the organisation, states: "It is good to see that the festive period has not been spoilt by the credit crunch for most people.
"Christmas can be a drain on the finances but it seems that money is not an issue for more than a quarter of people."
Meanwhile, the Confederation of British Industry recently suggested some shoppers may be delaying their festive shopping until the last minute to try and get a bargain.
