Speaking in an interview with the Telegraph, Mr Winner, who is also known for being the Sunday Times food critic, explains he predominantly uses the company for his credit card transactions.
"I've been a member since 1966," he told the publication, adding that his biggest ever monthly spend totalled £93,000.
This was part of a year-long expenditure of £380,000.
When it comes to banking, Mr Winner - whose film credits include Death Wish, A Chorus of Disapproval, the Cool Mikado and Dirty Weekend - said he uses Coutts & Co, referring to members of the organisation as "sweet people".
Concluding, he explains he is keeping a close eye on the Bank of England monetary policy committee's decisions on the base rate of interest, the next of which is due to be taken on January 8th 2009.
