John Lewis Partnership credit card 'could be a good card for Christmas shopping in-store'
The John Lewis Partnership credit card could prove a good payment method for those considering doing their Christmas shopping at the retailer this year.
This is because holders of the Partnership credit card are able to earn points when they use the card at any of the 25 million MasterCard outlets worldwide.
Once points have been accrued, they can be converted into vouchers that can be used in John Lewis stores, which could be useful for Christmas shopping at the retailer.
Credit card holders are also given access to handpicked special offers.
The typical variable rate on the card is 16.9% APR.
It is also possible to transfer balances from other credit cards on to the Partnership credit card, with a 2.5% fee and a minimum of £5.
However, balances cannot be transferred from cards issued by other members of the HSBC Group.
This includes the HSBC credit card, which also has a typical variable rate of 16.9% APR with no annual fee to pay.
