A new deal being offered by Halifax means customers switching their credit card accounts can benefit from 0% interest.
Money-saving customers moving their credit card balance to the Halifax All In One card will not only pay a below-average 15.9% typical APR, but will also be entitled to a nine month 0% purchase and balance transfer period.
Rachel Robson from lovemoney.com states: "This fabulous piece of plastic offers a nine-month interest-free period for both purchases and balance transfers.
"This means that whatever you do with the card, you won't pay any interest for nine months - and you won't have to worry about negative payment hierarchy."
A 3% transfer fee will apply for customers moving their account to the Halifax All In One, while only balances moved in the first 90 days of ownership are eligible for the interest free scheme.
Customers must stay within their agreed credit limit to benefit from the 0% interest rate, while transferrals from other Halifax or Bank of Scotland accounts will not be eligible.
