FairFX: Currency rates for year end likely to be set this week
The condition of global currencies for the rest of the year is likely to be set over the next week, Rishi Patel, head of FX trading at FairFX.com, commented today.
This is because key decisions are expected over the next few days from the US Federal Reserve, the Bank of England and the European Central Bank, the head of FX trading added.
Travellers could ensure they are receiving the best foreign exchange rates on the market by getting hold of a prepaid FairFX foreign currency card.
These prepaid MasterCards are available in euros or US dollars and can be bought online using debit or credit cards or internet bank transfer.
According to FairFX, using one of these cards can save travellers around 3% on typical UK bank debit card usage or 8% on what they would typically pay for foreign exchange at the airport.
Prepaid foreign exchange cards are also available from CaxtonFX and MyTravelCash.
