Credit card users struggling to make payments 'should set a budget'
Credit card holders who are using one credit card to pay off another should make a strict, honest budget to help set out their finances, according to advice from the Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS).

Tom Howard, a spokesperson for CCCS, recommended that those who are having difficulties making their credit card payments should consider contacting a free, independent advice agency.
The CCS and Citizens Advice both offer assistance for free, he suggested.
Mr Howard's comments come as the Citizens Advice Bureaux in England and Wales reported a rise in debt, employment and benefits enquiries over the past 12 months.
According to the Bureaux, enquiries concerning credit card and store card debts increased by 13% compared to the previous 12 months.
Mr Howard recommended that those struggling to pay their credit card bills, particularly their minimum obligations, should look to rectify the situation as quickly as possible by making a budget to see where they are over-spending and where they can cut back to save money.
