Debit and credit card holders have been advised always to check their statements in full, following reports that a man in the US has been charged with stealing data which relates to 130 million debit and credit cards.

The man and two un-named co-conspirators allegedly researched debit and credit card systems used by their victims, according to the BBC.
They then attacked the systems' networks and sent the captured information to computer servers they operated from various bases around the world.
Michelle Whiteman of Financial Fraud Action UK reassured consumers that victims of fraud in the UK will be refunded in full, the BBC reported.
Albert Gonzalez could face 25 years in prison for what has been called one of the largest identity theft cases in history.
