Co-operative Financial Services's new service allows customers to ask questions about products such as credit cards on its website.

Customers can type in questions such as 'What credit cards do you offer?' and receive an immediate, accurate answer.

The bank recently won a Which? award for Best Financial Services Provider. The Which? awards recognise the best performers across the sector, including credit cards.

It is hoped that Co-operative Financial Service's new web tool will help it to build on its success.

Sean Barton, e-business manager at Co-operative Financial Services, said: "Following extensive research into how our customers use our website, we knew web self-service would be vital to improve the customer experience."
