It is hoped that new site will aid advisers' understanding and ability to use protected investments.

The website has been designed to make tracking clients' investments as easy as possible for advisers, according to Barclays.

It will also include a new maturities section, displaying information on products within three months of their maturity.

Barclays is launching a new website for credit card holders as well, called mybarclaycard.

Users will be able to track their spending using online graphs and apply for paperless statements.

Barclays is currently offering a credit card called Barclaycard Simplicity. The credit card's rate is 6.8% APR typical (variable), and applies to every purchase and balance fee with no handling fee.

Identity protection and fraud monitoring is also offered with the credit card.
