Credit card payments with contactless technology 'good for businesses'
Contactless debit and credit card payments will benefit businesses, UK payments association Apacs has said.

The comments were made after Boots announced they would be introducing the new contactless pay point machines in stores across the UK.
The machines will be used for payments under £10.
A spokesperson for Apacs said: "For businesses, it is always important for them to stay on top of their game and to offer customers a convenient way to pay and quicker queuing times."
Shops that use the system will probably see more customers being able to get through their doors, she continued.
The spokesperson recommended that businesses offer a range of payment methods so that customers can use the ones that suit them.
According to Apacs, two per cent of payments under £10 in value are made by credit card. At the moment, 91 per cent of payments under £10 are made in cash.
However, contactless payments systems could change this in the future by making it easier to pay by card.
