Credit card lending increased in November
Credit card lending in the UK increased by £0.2 billion in November last year, according to new figures from the Bank of England.
However, other loans and advances decreased by £0.6 billion, the new statistics show.
In news that may suggest Bank of England attempts to increase lending may be working, total net lending to individuals rose by £1.1 billion in November.
Net lending secured on dwellings increased by £1.5 billion, higher than the increase of £1.1 billion seen in October.
