Credit card holders 'should shield their pin number when abroad'
Credit and debit card holders should remember to be careful about shielding their pin when on holiday in Europe, it has been suggested.

According to a senior researcher at Which? Money, there are people every where in the world who are intent on stealing your pin number or stealing your credit card from your back pocket.
Researcher Dan Moore said that unless debit and credit card holders maintain the same levels of vigilance as they do when at home, their holiday could be ruined by card theft.
Mr Moore's comments follow the release of new research from life assistance company CPP which suggests that British holidaymakers in Spain reported twice as many lost cards than any other country.
The senior researcher commented that getting hold of a debit or credit card in countries without chip and pin is like "gold dust".
"It's ironic because in Spain, they do use chip and PIN. If you go to the States where they don't tend to, you can forge someone's signature and keep using their card. When it is chip and PIN, you have to actually see someone entering it in," he continued.
