The group's new initiative provides tools such as onsite workshops and self-assessment questionnaire support.
It is hoped the package will also help companies to meet the mandatory requirements of the credit card industry.
Des Cross, retail director at RSA, said: "The threat of security attacks on their computer systems leading to the abuse of customer data is yet another growing worry for them [retailers] and could prove costly to their reputation."
The new package for businesses should help to alleviate some of this worry, he continued.
According to the UK payments association Apacs, card fraud losses in 2008 totalled £606.9 million.
Losses on transactions due to fraud has decreased by 67% on the high street in the past three years due to chip and pin technology, Apacs has shown.
A total of £73.0 million was lost on the high street last year in comparison to £218.8 million in 2004.
