Credit card provider the Co-operative Bank has revealed that it is offering discounts on family tickets to the London Aquarium with its Credit Card Plus.

The offer allows credit card holders to pick and chose their additional benefits to suit their lifestyles, for example different types of insurance cover.
As well as the aquarium discount, other core benefits can include mobile phone insurance and 20% off home insurance provided by the Co-operative Insurance.
Maxine Xodo-Rose, credit card product manager at The Co-operative Bank, suggested that the additional benefits could be useful for sunny weekends spent in the UK, as well as savings on family holidays for when it's not so warm in the UK.
Her comments follow the release of new research from the credit card provider which revealed that the spending habits of Brits greatly depend on the weather.
For example, building material stores experienced a 27% increase in sales in the last weekend in May which was sunny and hot, in comparison to the first weekend in June which was much cooler.
Ms Xodo-Rose said: "Summer offers a great opportunity to spend time with the family, but entertaining kids for two months can quickly add up so spending money wisely whatever the weather is a must."
