Actress and author Joan Collins has hailed credit cards for helping her detail exactly how much she has spent.

The Dynasty star revealed to the Telegraph that she finds plastic payment extremely useful as cash can often get out of control.
She explained: "That way you have an automatic record. It helps me to keep track of my spending and it's easier to double check against the receipts I hold when the bill comes in."
Ms Collins also maintained she enjoys the security benefits offered by credit card - and she's not the only celebrity to state that.
Recently Keith Chegwin told the same newspaper the opportunity to reclaim money if there is a problem with purchases is important.
He said: "I've only run into trouble a few times, but I once bought a piece of recording equipment that didn't work and was still temperamental even after visits from a repair engineer. In that case I got my money back from the credit card."
