Cockney rhyming slang introduced at east London ATMs
Cockney rhyming slang has been introduced to a number of ATMs of machine operator Bank Machine.
Credit card users will be asked to enter their Huckleberry Finn, instead of their pin, for three months.
At the five machines, debit and credit card holders will also be asked how much sausage and mash, rather than cash, they would like to take out.
Ron Delnevo, managing director of Bank Machine, said: "Whilst we expect some residents will visit the machine to just have a butcher's (look), most will be genuinely pleased as this is the first time a financial services provider will have recognised the Cockney language in such a manner."
