Barclaycard launches new online account system
Barclaycard has launched its new online account servicing system, the credit card provider has revealed.
It is hoped the new system called mybarclaycard will make it easier for credit card holders to monitor and manage their account.
Users will also be given greater control over their accounts, by allowing them to choose the way in which they view their financial information and spending.
Those who log on to the site can also manage their credit limit and request a balance transfer.
Barclaycard customers can also set up a direct debit, request a replacement card and apply for a new credit limit.
Amer Sajed, chief executive Barclaycard UK, said: "mybarclaycard is set to be the UK's leading online account servicing website. It will make our customers' lives a little easier by providing them with the control to track and manage their spending with Barclaycard."
Barclaycard is currently offering a platinum credit card with 0% interest on balance transfers for 12 months from the date on which the account is opened, subject to a 2.5% handling fee.
