Barclaycard's Platinum Long Tern Balance Transfer credit card has been endorsed by a national newspaper.
The Daily Mail claimed its terms were among the best for borrowers who cannot apply for interest-free deals.
Boasting a modest 6.5% charge on balance transfer, the newspaper noted: "This is lower than any overdraft or personal loan rates you can find and also means you have the flexibility to repay it in your own time."
However, the publication warned purchases are only interest-free for the first ten months, after which cardholders can expect a 16.9% levy.
Citibank's Life of Balance MasterCard also made the shortlist with its low life of balance rate of 6.9%.
According to celebrity financial advisor Martin Lewis, consumers looking for balance transfer deals are better off opting for a "long-term cheap stable relationship rather than trying to be a credit card tart" and switching providers frequently.
