AA launches new rewards credit card
A credit card with 0% for 12 months on balance transfers made within the first 90 days subject to a handling fee has been launched by AA.
A credit card with 0% for 12 months on balance transfers made within the first 90 days subject to a handling fee has been launched by AA.
The new card will offer holders reward points on all purchases, with double points available on motoring spend, fuel and AA products.
This deal could suit AA's 15 million members looking for a credit card deal with 0% interest for the first 12 months.
A typical variable rate of 16.9% APR is available on the credit card.
Those with the AA credit card can redeem their points on motoring products such as AA insurance, travel books and maps.
They can also be exchanged for shopping vouchers and cash back.
Mark Huggins, director of AA Financial Services said: "The cost of motoring is constantly rising - not least the price of fuel: and the new AA card offers the opportunity to help ease the financial pain of running a vehicle."
He added that the AA credit card is really "the motorist's card" and is a best-buy when compared to other reward credit cards in the market due to the rewards it offers.
In other credit card news, the government launched proposals to regulate credit card providers' practices earlier this week.
